Goodbye Annie, Danny, Melia, & Sophie

I got married a second time to a tender widower in 1977, and we had nine teenagers combined, age 10-21. Crazy, wonderful, but a hectic bunch from grade school to college. It’s 2009 now, I’m Marilyn Johnson, age 77, and Kay Johnson, age 81. My mother told me that I should always have some young friends so I wouldn’t be too sad when my old friends pass away.

Annie called me and asked me if she could have a going-away party in my back yard. I'll call all the people and we'll bring the treats. Joyfully I said yes!

The children had a rousing good time too!

Saying goodbye to Dolly the dog.

All your friends Annie, Danny, Melia, and Sophie are sad. But we are happy for Danny's new job and the family adventures in Hawaii! Thank heaven for e-mails and blogs that keep us up to date.

As the party came to an end, Melina bumped her knee on the swing set, and came crying to mom but said "I want my daddy!" Sophie cried too, "I want my daddy!". Annie was crying too. But now your happy little family is complete in Hawaii together.

Love is Eternal,
Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa Kay
